• Born in Taungoo Township in 1947
• Received B.Sc(Geology) from University of Rangoon in 1969
• Demonstrator and Assistant Lecturer of Department of Geology in Yangon, Mandalay and Myintkyina College and Universities from 1970 to 1994
• Received Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Exploration(Gelogy) from Oxford Poly, United Kingdom in 1986.
• Received Master Degree in Petroleum(Geology) from Aberdeen University in 1987
• Currently working as Station Manager for Golden Express Tours
